Overview
The PADI Advanced Diver course is for PADI Open Water Divers, or equivalent, that want to increase their competences and gain experience in scuba diving.
During this course you will be introduced to the following topics:
- Deep diving
- Underwater navigation
- Night diving
- Dry suit diving
- Peak performance buoyancy
The course includes:
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver book
- Rental of: dry suit with hood and gloves, BCD, regulator, tanks and weights
- Theoretical and practical formation
- 5 certification dives
- Entrance to dive site (Flintkote)
- Certification card if the course was completed

Adding the Dry Suit Diver Specialty to your Advanced Diver Course makes sense in many ways: safety, comfort and of course budget.
Although the Advanced Diver course is introducing you to the subject, dry suit diving is a very specialised field of diving and you will benefit greatly from the extra knowledge and exercises the Dry Suit Diver Specialty course will give you. Handling your dry suit with ease is the most basic ingredient to a safe and comfortable diving experience.
You will receive the Dry Suit Diver Specialty for only 165$ when added to the Advanced Diver course and you won’t have to pay for dry suit rental and site entrance like the you have to for regular specialty courses.
Advanced Open Water Diver 375$ + Dry Suit Diver 225$ = Combo 535$
The Combo course includes:
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver book
- PADI Dry Suit Diver book
- Rental of: dry suit with hood and gloves, BCD, regulator, tanks and weights
- Theoretical and practical formation
- 6 certification dives
- Entrance to dive site (Flintkote)
- Certification card for Advanced Open Water Diver and Dry Suit Diver if the course was completed
Details
The cours consists of 4 parts:
- Gear trial at Plongée Capitale: please visit us as soon as possible to try out a suit and make sure the good size is available at your choose date.
- Theory lesson: don’t forget to complete the lecture of your PADI manual before the start of the course. The combo course has 2 theory lessons.
- Pool practice: pick up your gear at the shop during opening hours
- 2 days of certification: usually done over a weekend. 3 dives on Saturday, 2 dives on Sunday (3 dives on Sunday for the Combo)
Requirements
- PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Be at least 15 years old
- Complete and sign the PADI Advanced Diver forms
Equipement needed:
- Fins, mask and snorkel
- Dive lamp
- Compass
Forms
Completion and signing of a liability release and medical form is required by PADI before the start of any course activity. The reservation of your preferred date is only complete once we have received these forms.
