Overview
The attractive price does not compromise quality or durability. The CENTAURI comes with a smart phone wireless synchronisation option that you will usually only find in high-priced dive computers. You can set audible and vibration alarms and it provides 4 different operating modes: scuba diving (air and Nitrox up to 56%), free diving, gauge and watch mode. It also includes a logbook function. The menu is very easy to navigate and user friendly. The display is straightforward and clear so you can capture the most important data with a quick view. Here an example in scuba diving mode:
Of course you can choose between imperial and metric units.
Another great feature: no more battery changes! Simply recharge the lithium battery with the included USB cable.
Gauge mode:
In gauge mode the computer displays current depth, average depth, stop watch, dive time and water temperature.
Free dive mode:
In free dive mode the CENTAURI provides the following info: current depth, surface interval, temperature, depth and time of previous dive, you can access max. depth, max. ascent & descent speed, max. time and average ascent & descent speed. It has a timer function and you can set alarms for dive time, depth and surface interval.
Watch mode:
If in addition to having a multi-functional dive computer you’re also looking for a reliable and stylish watch to wear every day, then the CENTAURI will become your best friend. In watch mode the computer displays time and date and let’s you choose between a 12h or 24h time format. The great backlit function makes it easy to read the display even in low light conditions. You can choose from 5 different intensities.
And the CENTAURI has another interesting feature: when there is no movement detected by the G-sensor, the computer enters stand-by mode (blank screen). If not used for more than 24 hours it goes into hibernation mode to preserve battery life. It wakes from stand-by mode with a simple movement, to wake it from hibernation mode simply press a button.

Our personal note
We really like this new computer. It has impressive features for the price and looks elegant. The Bühlmann model is a very well tested algorithm and has been improved over and over again.
We recommend to use all dive computers conservatively and follow DIVERS ALERT NETWORK’s tips for a safer use of dive computers!
