Overview
The MK17 EVO is a completely environmentally sealed system meaning water does not enter any internal parts like it happens in a piston design 1st stage. Sealed off from the elements not even the smallest particles floating in the water can interfere with the internal mechanism of this high performance reg. The dry ambient pressure chamber of a membrane regulator also helps to prevent freezing, provides better protection and improves performance. It ensures a trouble-free operation even in the coldest, murkiest of water.
This new EVO version is more compact than the previous MK17 while providing an even better breathing performance. The internal design was improved to allow a higher airflow towards the 2nd stage and the LP ports have been positioned for optimum hose routing.
