Overview
The S560 is an air-balanced second stage. It’s housing, while being very robust, is made of a lightweight, reinforced techno-polymer. A lightweight 2nd stage increases comfort and reduces jaw fatigue. The S560 differs from the S600 mainly in the valve housing (barrel) material: carbon fiber/techno-polymer vs. the S600’s metal barrel.
The S560 comes with full user controls, including an inhalation effort adjustment knob and a Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) dive/pre-dive switch.
