The streamlined SEAHAWK was a popular choice for many years so SCUBAPRO decided to make it even better. While the SEAHAWK 2 offers all the conveniences of its predecessor it is much lighter and folds extremely easy for packing.
Overview
Diving the SEAHAWK 2 you will profit from its big lift capacity and integrated weight system with low-profile security buckles. Due to its new ergonomic shoulder design, rotating shoulder buckles and a reinforced but softer backpack the SEAHAWK 2 brings comfort to a new level.
The single-band Super Cinch tank buckle that lets you lock down the tank with a single hook-and-clamp maneuver, was positioned a little lower in the new SEAHAWK 2 and complemented with a velcro strap to secure the tank.
The quick-release integrated weight system is first-rate in both compactness and security. Once clipped in with the oversized buckles, your ballast weights won’t be going anywhere unless you want them to, and then it’s an easy squeeze-and-pull for a quick ditch. Two rear trim pouches balance out the front weights for maintaining a comfortable swimming position.
With substantial lift capacity in all sizes, the SEAHAWK 2 is well-suited for cold or temperate water diving as well as cruising the tropics. Back-flotation divers who want freedom of movement, excellent stability and lots of buoyant lift in a BC with ample gear storage will find the SEAHAWK 2 the perfect choice.
