The PADI Divemaster Course
Divemasters represent the first level of PADI professionals responsible for guiding certified divers, leading dive excursions, assisting in a variety of courses and with some special training a Divemaster can teach the Discover Scuba Diving program. But many divers simply take the Divemaster course to advance their skill level or as a personal challenge without ever working as a Divemaster afterwards.
The Divemaster course is very extensive and takes a minimum of 50 hours. You will follow theory lessons and train in the pool as well as in open water and assist an instructor in a variety of dive courses.
- Complete dive gear including compass, knife or line cutter, whistle, signal buoy and oxygen mask;
- Medical certificate signed by your doctor;
- Minimum 20 logged dives at the beginning, and 60 logged dives by the end of the course.
